Omega Gamma Gamma Chapter Brings Thanksgiving Cheer to the Warner Robins Community

The Omega Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., continued its tradition of service and uplift by preparing and delivering Thanksgiving turkeys to families in need on November 16, 2024. This heartfelt initiative, which brought together approximately 30 brothers and volunteers, exemplifies the chapter’s unwavering commitment to the community it has proudly served since its establishment in Warner Robins in 1988.

As part of the fraternity’s National Achievement Week celebration, the turkey distribution was a powerful demonstration of the chapter’s dedication to living by the Four Cardinal Principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift. These principles have guided Omega Gamma Gamma in its mission to create a lasting impact on the lives of others.

A Legacy of Service

The annual turkey drive is just one of many contributions made by Omega Gamma Gamma throughout the years. From coat drives and food distributions to youth mentorship programs, highway cleanups, blood drives, and visits to elderly care homes, the chapter has consistently answered the call to serve. Each initiative reflects the brothers’ unwavering belief that service is the cornerstone of true leadership and brotherhood.

“We were birthed for service,” shared one of the chapter brothers, reflecting on Omega Gamma Gamma’s founding in 1988. “Every turkey we deliver, every coat we collect, every young life we mentor is a testament to the legacy of Omega Psi Phi and our shared commitment to uplifting our community.”

This year’s turkey drive held special significance as it coincided with Achievement Week, a time when the fraternity highlights and celebrates the achievements of its members and the positive impact they make in society.
